Pooch Plaques are made with an antique, slightly distressed look so you won't necessarily need a pristine photograph to work from. The most important thing is to provide an interesting photograph that captures the essential character of your pet. That said generally the higher the quality the better.

Can you create a Plaque from a black & white photograph.

Yes. Any colour or black & white images can be made into a Pooch Plaque - all plaques will be created with a wash of colour through them to give them an antique flavour.

Can Pooch Plaques be hung outdoors?

Like all photographs, Pooch Plaques, are designed for indoors and are best kept out of direct sunlight as the sun's UV rays will cause the image to deteriorate over time.

Can I have a different style Photo Plaque.

Yes. Our "Antique" style as featured on the website looks great but if it doesn't suit you, Custom Made Memories can create a Photo Plaque style to suit your particular requirements.

What format and size should I supply my photograph.

Standard image formats such as JPEG's and PDF's will be fine.... and you can email us to check more exotic formats. Images should be reasonable size - anything less than 200kb is probably too small to get a good result from.
